Wild at Heart - The Indianapolis Zoo #BlogFlash2012 Day 18

Today has been a beautiful day so we decided to take the girls to the Indianapolis Zoo this morning. We have a zoo membership so we go often and don't feel the need to stay the whole day to get our money's worth. I love seeing all the animals during the different seasons and at different times of day.

Today the gibbons and baboons were in rare form. The gibbons were swinging on the fence right at the front of the enclosure, even reaching through to pluck grass from the other side. The baboons were making lots of noise and the large ones were chasing each other and the smaller ones around their enclosure. I can only imagine how active these animals could be with more space, completely in their natural environment.
